I'm a molecular ecologist - I use DNA to study wildlife. I use genetic tools, including environmental DNA (eDNA) and population genetics, to inform conservation and wildlife management. Current projects focus on Antarctic wildlife.
As co-chair of the GEOBON Genetic Composition Working Group, and as a member of the IUCN Conservation Genetics Specialist Group, I work to improve frameworks and tools for evaluation, monitoring, and reporting of genetic diversity.
